Abstract Submission

We invite all participants to submit abstracts on their latest results and on methodological highlights for oral or poster presentation.
The Scientific Program Committee will decide upon acceptance of submitted abstracts. The contributions will be selected for oral presentation in one of the following symposia:

1) Technologies in systems medicine
2) Systems medicine of diseases
3) Modelling in systems medicine
4) Network approaches in systems medicine
5) Translational approaches in systems medicine

In addition, every new e:Med alliance starting in 2019 has the valuable opportunity to give insights into its research by a short presentation on its scientific idea and goals and previous research.

Corresponding authors will be informed about the acceptance for oral or poster presentation after the abstract deadline.
All abstracts will be presented to the participants of the e:Med Meeting 2019 in the abstract book, which will be available on site as print version and as download on the meeting website.

e:Med awards

The top three posters will be honored by the e:Med poster award 2019.

Award criteria:

  • scientific quality and novelty
  • concise statement of significance of research
  • focused problems, innovative solutions
  • succinct, clear, engaging presentation
  • visual balance between text, figures and tables
     

On top of that, the top ranked most creative FlashTalk presentation will be awarded by the "NaWik Communication Award" with a voucher for a NaWik Seminar.

Important:
The awards will only be allocated to participants who are present with their poster at the award ceremony or who have as an exception nominated a representative that will present their poster.

Abstract body: max. 2,000 characters incl. spaces

Information for poster arrangements
Poster format: DIN A 0 (W x H: 841 x 1188 mm)
A member of your consortium is expected at the poster in order to present the data during poster sessions.
