Project management and graduate training

SP11 ensures the efficient and effective running of the Consortium, and oversees liaison between the Consortium and both the wider scientific community and the general public.
The Consortium coordinator is responsible for the management and administration of the Consortium, and this is executed through the Consortium office. SP11 assists the SP leaders in formulating press statements; communicating with the media; and updating the e:Med Systems Medicine IntegraMent homepage, which informs the public about the work and progress of the Consortium. In addition, the Consortium coordinator organizes IntegraMent educational programs for postgraduate- and postdoctoral level scientists, as well as regular Consortium meetings and telephone conferences to ensure lively and fruitful collaborations between the SPs. The Consortium office is based at the Institute of Human Genetics, University of Bonn. A professional project manager runs the Consortium office and coordinates all scientific activities.
