Invitation

Dear e:Med colleagues, dear systems medicine community,

The e:Med Project Committee cordially invites all members to attend the 4th e:Med Meeting held November 21 – 23, 2017 at the “Alte Mensa” in Göttingen.
This meeting is an ideal forum for scientific discussions and for sharing ideas, results and information. Take this opportunity for meeting your e:Med colleagues!

Abstract submission is open till September 24 (final deadline). Participation is free of charge, registration is mandatory. To register online, please click the following link: https://www.sys-med.de/de/meeting/emed-meeting-2017/registration/

With a symposium on technical innovations, the meeting will open on morning of Tue 21st. Topics of this year’s conference are: modelling and technologies in systems medicine as well as systems medicine of diseases and approaches in clinics.
The program also includes a public talk for young investigators and sessions on European systems medicine as well as systems medicine impulse talks.
Outstanding experts from each field will talk at the conference.

Unveil your work to the community by submitting an abstract for an oral presentation or poster presentation on the session topics!
Distinguished abstracts with late-breaking topics are selected to be presented in 15’ short talks in scientific sessions throughout the meeting.
Authors of selected posters will be given the opportunity to present 3’ flash talks. All posters are exhibited throughout the conference. In addition there are two poster sessions in the exhibition area to discuss your scientific project with experts from the systems medicine community. The top three posters will be honored by the e:Med poster award.

Join our get together on the first evening just after the public talk and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the “Alte Mensa” for chatting science with e:Med peers while having fine food and selected wine. Another highlight is our e:Med dinner party on Wednesday night in the historical vaulted cellar of the Bullerjahn Restaurant with life music entertainment combining modern cuisine and ancient architecture (dinner and welcome cocktails are free – further beverages are paid by the participants).
You are very welcome to forward this information to interested colleagues.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Göttingen!
