Module IV
Future-oriented and cross-cutting issues
Module IV “Future-oriented and cross-cutting issues” offers scope for questions, which are of great significance to important aspects of systems medicine or to the development of the research field overall. These are issues, which take account of the rapid progress of knowledge in this area as well as the need for innovation and innovative behavior in relevant economic sectors.
Such research and funding measures will become increasingly important as the field advances. A flexible response can therefore be given to the emergence of new research topics and the highly competitive global competition for research results and systems medicine innovations.
e:Med module IV currently represents an interface to other nationwide BMBF initiatives, such as de.NBI and i:DSem.
