Module V
Internationalization
Module V “Internationalization” constitutes the framework for international networking of the German system-oriented biomedical research scene. The most important levels and measures are substantial involvement in large-scale international research projects (such as ICGC and IHEC), a (leading) involvement in different European research strategy initiatives, such as ERA networks or “Coordination and Support Actions” (CSA personalized medicine, ERANet synthetic biology), and in measures to coordinate and develop new fields (CSA for systems medicine CASyM) and joint concepts and publications with European and international research funding sources.
