
e:Med Workshop on Biomedical Data Management
The workshop took place on April 10, 2018 at the University Hospital Tübingen and consolidated and discussed ongoing data management initiatives within the German e:Med community and beyond.
Scope
This data management workshop is organized by the e:Med project group informatics & modeling and aims at consolidating ongoing data management initiatives within the German e:Med community, as well as on intensifying the discussion on the important aspect of data provenance in healthcare and biomedical research.
This includes but is not limited to new solutions and best practices in:
- data annotation
- data sharing and data security
- high throughput data processing
- next-generation infrastructure
- benchmarking and reproducible research
We hope to further build a platform for communication and exchange for all scientific and technical aspects that relate to data management in healthcare and biomedical research.

The stop "Uni-Kliniken Berg" is served by bus lines 5, 13, 17, 18, 19, Klinikexpress X15. The seminar room will be signposted from the CRONA main entrance.

CRONA Klinik is located on the site 'Kliniken Berg'. Use the parking garage "P4" (Hoppe-Seyler-Str. 2) at the main entrance of the clinic area or on-street parking on Schnarrenberg Street (4€/day).
