Information for Companies

e:Med is the Germany-wide BMBF-funded research program in systems medicine which covers more than 50 German institutions cooperating in approximately 180 projects. German experts in systems medicine regularly gather since 2014 during the e:Med Annual Meeting.
The aim of e:Med and its innovative program is the systems-oriented investigation of the physiological background of a broad range of diseases leading to a deeper understanding of the disease in order to optimize prevention and diagnostics allowing for individualized therapy and personalized medicine.
Hundreds of scientists are working in research consortia focusing on cancer, cardiovascular and neurologic diseases, and illness of the lung, the kidneys, the immune system, the metabolome and others. The bottom line is the investigation of the interplay and correlation between DNA, proteins and metabolic products in biosamples such as blood, urine or tissue.
Key to the network is electronic processing (e:Med) of the high throughput data generated by modern, automated state-of-the-art “Omics” techniques and the specification of the outcome through iterative cycles of lab experiments and computer-based modeling.
In e:Med the close collaboration of mathematicians and IT scientists with clinicians and biologists ensures that the latest findings and new insights are accessible for medical and research scientists as well as for physicians.

If your company offers products or service needed in the research field of personalized medicine, our meetings and workshops offer an ideal platform for presenting your company and your products.

The next upcoming opportunity will be the e:Med Annual Meeting 2024 on November 21-23 in Hamburg. (www.sys-med.de/de/meeting). Here you may book so-called sponsor packages, e.g. have a focus talk, or place your logo on our meeting-website or on the abstract book and even have your booth at the meeting – and at the same time support the e:Med Systems Medicine network!
