SP 6
Therapiemodulierte Dynamiken von Immunzellen
This subproject aims to provide high dimensional immunophenotyping data on peripheral leucocytes responding to targeted therapies in chronic rheumatic diseases, i.e. rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and ankylosing spondylitis (AS), to study therapy-modulated immune cell dynamics and to integrate these data as phenotypic component for the systems biology dialog followed by this consortium. In addition, new immunophenomic data will be generated during ongoing clinical studies on TNFa and IL-6 blocking antibodies in IBD and rheumatic diseases. Here, multiparametric flow cytometry and the new mass cytometry-technology (CyTOF) will be used to generate high-dimensional immonophenotypical data sets to monitor quantitatve and qualitative changes in the leucocyte composition of chronic inflammatory patients under therapy.
